Art After Hours | A Marion Tradition
SPRING ART AFTER HOURS: THE SCULPTURE OF HUGH KELLY
We are thrilled to welcome Hugh Kelly to the Bernadette Kelly Group offices for our latest installation of Art After Hours. On Thursday, May 14th, we invite you to experience an evening of fabulous art, wine, and community connection!

Born from a desire to connect our community through creativity, Art After Hours transforms our Marion office into a gallery space where neighbors can gather, converse, and celebrate local talent.
After graduating from the Wentworth Institute of Technology, Hugh spent his career as a Union carpenter building structures in Boston. During his time away from the job site, his passion for woodworking translated into creating intricate jewelry boxes, small furniture, and carved birds. In the late 1990s, he began carving custom walking sticks, and after taking a seminar with a master woodcarver in New York in 2011, he officially “got hooked” on carving fish. When he is not in his workshop, Hugh is an avid golfer and an enthusiastic gardener.
In a wonderful gesture of community support, Hugh is offering a collection of his miniature fish sculptures for $25 each during the event. All proceeds from these specific pieces will go directly to the Buzzards Bay Coalition.
Call for Accompanying Artists: We are currently accepting submissions for a 2D artist to accompany Hugh’s exhibit. Must have framed work, manage installation/teardown, and attend the opening. Deadline is April 30th. Apply Here

Art After Hours: Where Art and Community Converge
Art After Hours was born in October 2022 from a simple desire to connect our community through the power of art. We envisioned transforming our office into a welcoming space where local artists could showcase their work and art enthusiasts could gather to appreciate and engage with creativity. Free of charge and open to all, Art After Hours has become a place where people from different walks of life can come together, spark conversations, and share in the joy of artistic expression.
For each iteration, we invite a new artist to take over our space, filling our walls with their unique vision and creative expression. But Art After Hours is more than just an exhibition; it’s an experience. We host lively opening receptions where artists, clients, friends, and neighbors come together to celebrate creativity and connect with one another. It’s an opportunity to engage with art in a relaxed, approachable setting, sparking conversations and forging new bonds.
We believe in making art accessible to all. That’s why we don’t take commissions or handle sales, allowing artists to connect directly with those who admire their work. Our focus remains on fostering a vibrant community where art is celebrated and connections are made.
As we enter our third year, we’re thrilled to see Art After Hours continue to grow & flourish. We’re continually seeking ways to expand our reach, with plans for quarterly shows to provide both established & emerging artists with a platform to showcase their talents.
We invite you to be a part of our Art After Hours community. Subscribe to our newsletter HERE to stay informed about upcoming events, artist features, and opportunities to connect with fellow art enthusiasts. If you are an artist local to the South Coast, Cape Cod, or the South Shore, or know of one who may be interested in participating in a future Art After Hours, please contact Bernadette at bernadette@bkellygroup.com. We hope to see you at our next opening!
THE ARTISTS & PAST OPENINGS

ART AFTER HOURS: THE DYNAMIC WORKS OF MASON TERRA
The Art: Mason Terra’s large-scale paintings—many created during his recent “24 Hours” solo performance—balance energetic, instinctive mark-making with intentional color placement. In striking contrast, the exhibition also features his “stripe drawings,” a meditative series exploring the quiet discipline of repetition and nuance.
The Wine: We are delighted to partner with J.Sull Wine for this event. “The Two From Down The Road,” Joel Sullivan and Niki Ashley, will be on-site pouring a curated selection of wines. With over 40 years of combined experience, they bring the same level of expertise to wine that BKG brings to real estate. Attendees will also receive exclusive discount coupons to use at their shop at 119 Wareham Road.
